Scottish Charities Aiming to Make Life-Saving Drugs Free

The charities found it unacceptable that those battling cancer couldn’t get the drugs they needed to save their lives.

A campaign is underway to void prescription charges for people with chronic illnesses. The charities in this campaign were: Cancer Research UK, CLIC Sargent, the International Myeloma Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Relief, Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres, Marie Curie Cancer Care, the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, Scottish Cancer Foundation, Tak Tent (Cancer Support Scotland), the Association for International Cancer Research, Breast Cancer Care and the Scottish Association of Prostate Cancer Support Groups.
