DiagnoCure’s Gen-Probe PCA3 Test: New Prostate Test, Now Certified in Europe
DiagnoCure’s PCA3 gene is believed to be a more precise prostate cancer indicator than the current diagnostic tests.
Now a new test – the Gen-Probe PCA3 test - based on the PCA3 technology has received a CE Mark certification which would allow commercialization of the test in Europe.
The Gen-Probe PCA3 test measures the expression of the prostate cancer-specific gene (PCA3) and will be formally launched later this month at the meeting of the British Association of Urologic Surgeons (BAUS) in the UK.
