The Revolution Online Health Fair and The Wellness Community
Visit Revolution Health’s Online Health Fair, currently ongoing (15-30 June, 2007) where a selection of nonprofit health groups have been invited by Revolution Health to share the latest information about healthy living, managing health conditions and getting more from your health resources.
And they’re all happening right now and you can “attend” right here, right now, in front of your computer.
And for readers of this blog or if you are a cancer patient/survivor or family/friend of a cancer patient/ survivor or just anybody else who would like to get their hands on the latest on cancer resources OR if you would like to donate money in support of cancer research and advocacy, you want to click on the booth of The Wellness Community.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary in June 2007, The Wellness Community (TWC) is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones.
Through participation in professionally-led support groups, educational
workshops, nutrition and exercise programs, and mind/body classes, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of their disease.
Today, there are 21 Wellness Communities around the plus 43 satellite and off-site programs, two centers abroad in Tel Aviv and , five centers in development, and online at The Virtual Wellness Community.
