Cancer Commentary Links 28-Nov-2007

by Gloria Gamat on November 28th, 2007

This is a difficult week for me. Not only I am trying to wrap up on my blogging commitments before we go out of town on Friday, the weather isn’t cooperating.

The other super typhoon already left but not without pounding North of the Philippines first (our region was almost hit badly if not for it changing its course), the previous one came back. Came back! That’s right. Have you ever heard of a storm that already left but decided to come back? This is a first for me too. And then a third one is brewing nearby!

When will typhoons ever leave us alone?!

Anyway, I first would like to share with you, interesting posts from a couple of my favorite blogs that never fail to talk about cancer:

From Well Woman Blog: Urban Women Face Higher Risk of Breast Cancer

From Battling Cancer: Is motorcycle use linked to cancer?

Well, I’ll be gone for the whole weekend (in case I forget to say goodbye) and will only be back online Tuesday of Wednesday nest week.

I’ll be off to reconnect with old friends and hopefully meet b5media’s Shai Coggins who is currently home here in the Philippines.

My mother always said that when she lived in the Philippines, there were only two types of weather: steamy and typhoon. Be safe during your travels!

that is right lesly. do you by any chance have Filipino blood? and worse is that here in bicol, it is only wet and wetter. it could be bright and sunny in the morning, but hard downpour will come at noon without notice. sigh.

My parents are both Filipino, but now that they live in the States, they don’t miss the typhoon season at all :-)
